Good Morning San Diego and Happy Monday!

This weekend was my first full weekend back in photography since the wedding and honeymoon … and it did not disappoint! It started off with receiving my new 85mm 1.8 Canon Lens! It was like Christmas in March 🙂 After a lot of research, I decided to try out the 1.8, before I purchase the L Series version, to make sure I will be happy having it as part of my wedding gear lineup and to make sure it is a lens I will continue to use. Oh my goodness, I have not been disappointed so far!!

Meet Tori and Ian! They will be tying the knot this November at Mt Woodson Castle, one of my all time favorite venues. We were threatened with rain for Saturday’s engagement session at Balboa Park, but it ended up being the most beautiful spring morning with a cool breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better morning! I always encourage my clients to pick a location for their engagement session that has a very special meaning for them. Tori and Ian enjoy going to Balboa Park together and attending plays at the Old Globe Theatre. How sweet are these two?!

Sunday I had the biggest honor to photograph Barb and Jim tie the knot at Bali Hai Restaurant on a beautiful Sunday Morning! The day was filled with so many happy tears, smiles, Live Hawaiian Music, Disney (Heck Yes!), and most of all Love! I even had the pleasure to work with some of my favorite vendors Pat with Sound Prodigy and Lauren with LAR Bridal! Make sure to check them out, they are the best!
