Happy Monday! I Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!!!! I had the pleasure of driving up to Laguna Beach to photograph a sweet family on Saturday and then on Sunday I photographed another sweet family and then headed to Mt Woodson Castle to capture a stunning engagement session! The most exciting part of my weekend though was we finally decided on moving forward with planning a trip to Yosemite next Winter!
I am so excited I might just cry haha (But Seriously ;)! Yosemite was our first pit stop on our honeymoon last year and it was one of the most incredible experiences in my entire life (Yes I am sure a lot of this is because it truly was the honeymoon phase ha!) But in absolute all honesty this is one of my favorite places in the entire world, the Valley is absolutely Majestic! I miss the cold winter days exploring the beauty and cuddling up on the chilly nights and listening to the lower falls in our room at the Yosemite Valley Lodge. My greatest hope is to renew our vows in the valley, Fingers Crossed! The day after we got married I asked Jeff if we could get married again, because it was soooo much fun! He promised me that we could renew our vows on our 10 year anniversary, 8.5 more years to go!
I can remember when I was driving into the park, it was a very rainy afternoon as we approached a tunnel that was at least a mile long and it opened to the viewpoint called Tunnel View. My breath was instantly taken away! We visited this spot two more time during our short 72 hours that we were there. It rained off and on while we were there, but that did not stop us one bit on this trip, if anything it made it much more romantic! On our second night there we had dinner at the Majestic Yosemite hotel, their formal dining area looks like it is straight out of a fairytale, if you ever get a chance to visit make sure to get some drinks and enjoy them fireside in the hotel lobby! On our last morning there we woke up to snow, the greatest cake topper! It is just absolutely Magical! Here are some pictures from our trip last year, I hope you enjoy them!
I am so excited to plan another trip to Yosemite and even more thrilled that we have some friends joining us that have never been!!!!
