San Diego Beach Maternity Portraits
If you’re looking for dreamy San Diego beach maternity photography, this sweet session in a hidden corner of Del Mar is going to steal your heart! There’s just something about maternity portraits by the ocean that make my heart burst—but add in one of my favorite couples ever and a golden-hour glow? Literal magic.
R + M are two of the sweetest humans, and I had the honor of photographing their wedding at Rancho Guejito. So when they reached out to tell me they were expecting and wanted me to capture this next chapter for them—cue the happy tears! This is truly the best part of what I do—watching love grow and getting to document all the beautiful milestones along the way.
We met at this tucked-away beach spot that’s quiet, peaceful, and totally dreamy (golden hour here is just chef’s kiss). They kicked off their shoes, embraced the moment, and just loved on each other. No stiff poses, no stress—just sunshine, laughter, and that joyful anticipation of meeting their baby soon.
Can we also talk about her dress for a second?! The perfect pop of color with those dainty florals, and the way it flowed in the breeze? OBSESSED. And they brought ultrasound photos, which added such a sweet, personal touch. 😍
These two were glowing—like, you can literally feel the love and excitement radiating from them. We walked, we laughed, we let the waves chase our toes, and we celebrated the heck out of this beautiful moment in their journey.
