There are some wedding days that feel straight out of a fairytale — and this Mt Woodson Castle wedding was one of them! 💕 From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be such a special day. The mix of timeless castle charm, the couple’s radiant joy, and the most stunning florals came together to create pure magic.
A Venue with Storybook Charm
Mt Woodson Castle in Ramona (just outside San Diego) is hands down one of my favorite venues. With its winding stone pathways, historic architecture, and oak trees that look like they’ve been there for centuries, it feels like stepping into another world. It’s the kind of place where every corner is a photo moment — and it was the perfect backdrop for this love story.
A First Touch & Private Vows
Before the ceremony, the couple chose to share a first touch instead of a first look. Standing back-to-back by the stone walls of Mt Woodson Castle, they held hands, exchanged private vows, and wiped away a few tears without ever seeing each other. It was such an emotional and intimate moment — filled with anticipation, love, and a quiet stillness before the joy of the day unfolded. These are the kinds of moments I love capturing most — the ones that feel raw, genuine, and entirely their own.
The Ceremony
The couple exchanged vows beneath the oak trees, surrounded by dreamy white florals and lush greenery.
