Sterling and Cory’s wedding day at La Valle Coastal Club was the kind of celebration that feels impossible not to smile through.
From the very beginning, their love was absolutely fierce — the kind of connection that’s infectious in the best way. Being around them felt like stepping into pure joy, and honestly… I could have photographed these two all day long. Add in an unreal California sunset, live music that kept the dance floor packed, and one of the sweetest outfit changes I’ve ever seen, and this day was pure magic from start to finish!
A Dream Wedding Venue: La Valle Coastal Club
If you’re planning a La Valle Coastal Club wedding, let me just say — this venue is always such a dream to work at. Not only is the setting gorgeous, but the team there is truly incredible. When you have a venue staff that is organized, kind, and genuinely invested in the day running smoothly, it makes such a difference for everyone (especially the couple).

The Best Vendor Team (And My Favorite Coordinator!)
One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is getting to work alongside vendors who truly care about their couples. And having Holly Kalkin coordinating Sterling and Cory’s wedding was such a highlight. Holly is not only wildly talented, but she brings such a calming, joyful presence to the day. When the vendor team is strong, everything feels easier, more fun, and more present… and that was absolutely the vibe here.
Live Music That Felt Like a Movie
Can we talk about the reception energy?! Sterling and Cory had The Mighty Untouchables providing live music, and wow! They brought the party in the best possible way. The dance floor was packed and it truly felt like the entire night turned into one big music video (which is basically how I see weddings anyway!). There’s just something about live music that makes the celebration feel even more electric. This was one of those nights where you could feel the joy in every single song.
Sunset Portraits Around the Golf Course
Then came golden hour… and WOW. The sunset that night was absolutely stunning. It made everything feel warm, soft, and completely unreal.
Sterling and Cory were so down for an adventure, and we ended up driving around the entire golf course for their La Valle Coastal Club wedding portraits. It was such a fun moment in the middle of the day. Just the two of them soaking it all in, laughing together, and letting themselves be fully present. Those are always my favorite portraits. The light, movement, and connection between the two of them was absolute perfection!
A Dress Change That Meant So Much
One of the most meaningful moments of the night was when Sterling changed into her mom’s dress for dancing. It was such a beautiful way to honor family and bring a piece of history into the celebration Watching her dance the night away in a dress that carried so much meaning was one of those moments that reminds you what weddings are really about: love, legacy, and celebrating the people who shaped you.
