This Torrey Pines maternity session felt like the most natural continuation of their story. I’ve had the absolute honor of photographing their engagement session at Sunset Cliffs, and later their beautiful wedding at Cape Rey Carlsbad (you can view their wedding day here). Getting to now document this chapter for them is something I don’t take lightly—truly so incredibly special and meaningful.
A Soft, Coastal Golden Hour
We met along the shoreline just before sunset, where the light was soft, warm, and endlessly flattering. She wore a timeless, off-the-shoulder cream dress that perfectly complemented the neutral tones of the sand and sea—simple, refined, and effortlessly coastal.
Everything about this session felt like quiet luxury—natural movement, genuine connection, and letting the moment unfold organically.

From the way they held each other to the quiet moments in between, this session was filled with so much love and anticipation. As the sun dipped lower, they brought out their ultrasound photos—such a small but powerful detail that made the moment feel even more real.
