Monday’s with the Hills | Paso Picacho Campground

Camping at Cuyamaca Rancho State Park

This past weekend camping at Paso Picacho Campground was one for the books! One thing we love to do and we do best is camp, travel, and explore together. So we were super excited that we were able to get six of Jeff’s cousin’s and significant others all together for our first annual hopefully semi-annual or even ever season Cousin’s Camping Trip!
This is one of our favorite campground in Southern California, there is plenty of shade, has access to multiple trails, and allows you to bring your puppy dogs!

With all of the rain, we have had this year the campground is still very green and filled with beautiful flowers around the park! For as much as Jeff and I camp we made the major mistake of forgetting our most important camping bin filled with many of our cooking essentials!! We lived off of one plate, two bowls, and shared a fork! HA! When we got home we started to panic, because we really could not find the bin! After an hour of running through where it could possibly be we finally gave up. We started trying to recall everything that would need to be replaced and started an Amazon order.

There I was sitting in the middle of the living room with all of our camping supplies sprawled out on the floor. I was creating a master Camping Packing and Organization Spreadsheet. Jeff goes into our bedroom and stands in front of the fan and starts laughing uncontrollably. He realized that I had propped our floor fan on top of our most prized camping bin a few weeks ago when the heatwave hit! We never thought to look in our bedroom for the bin! HAHA! Insert Head Hitting Emoji here! #MajorFail Shout out to the cousins for helping us supposed camping pros out 😉 ha!

Well since I am almost finished creating this master spreadsheet I thought I would share it with you, my favorite people! Comment below with your email and I will be sending out this fun freebie later this week 😉

I cannot thank all of the cousins enough for a wonderful time, all the fun, yummy food, good drinks, and the memories that will last a lifetime!
